Grace Of Shekinah School: Profile

The Grace of Shekinah School (GSS) whose name means " God's Presence" or “God's dwelling place" was established on the 8th of December 1998. The GSS Pre-School Department was given government recognition March 22, 1999, the Grade School Department followed on June 4, 1999 and the High School Department on February 18, 2002 respectively. GSS believes that early education recognizes each child as a gift, a unique person capable of learning, growing and developing his/ her own potentials. As a distinct individual undergoing processes of growth in his/her own home, school and community. GSS believes that the child must be provided with balanced program of education. Such would integrate personal experiences and aspects of life, more especially his/her realization of being a unique person endowed with God-given capabilities. These are revealed on how a child deals with his/her own physical, social and natural environment.

The Grace of Shekinah School would provide your child with nature’s life giving opportunities to make him/her fully mature: physically, emotionally, psycho-socially, intellectually, morally and spiritually. With all these integrations, Grace of Shekinah School hopes that the child becomes expressive, healthy, creative, self-directing and responsible person. Our school guarantees a school-home environment where love for people, individual spirituality, Christian virtues and total child discipline are all at the fore. Today, The Grace of Shekinah School continues to grow with 28 competent and efficient faculty members, under the able and inspiring leadership of the School Board of Directors. The men and women of Grace of Shekinah School continue to shine and to strive toward giving all the students the best in terms of facilities, academic instructions, values formation and discipline.
